Florence Toffa also provided a comprehensive overview of the Online Work Africa Summit, outlining its objectives and stressing the pressing need for organizations to join forces in tackling youth unemployment through online work opportunities. With 912 participants already registered, the virtual summit, scheduled for July 23rd to 24th, 2024, promises engaging sessions led by seasoned experts, practical workshops covering various online work domains, and valuable networking prospects. Participants will explore diverse work avenues, connect with industry professionals and mentors, and gain insights into freelancing, e-commerce, online tutoring, remote jobs, content creation, and more.
To bring the initiative’s vision to fruition, the audience listened to inspiring stories from individuals who have achieved economic empowerment through online work.
